Historian, botanical illustrator
& UX/UI designer

I believe that even the most complicated things in the world could be translated in simple, clean and understandable way to create better user experience for all of us.

  • Education: Master's in History & Culturology

My whole life the only true passions for me were art and history. While studying a medieval history in St. Petersburg State University I worked as an artist drawing archaeological findings in an archive. It sparked something in me and after receiving a Master's Degree in History I prepared my first portfolio and went freelance.

Since then I moved to Porto, Portugal, worked as a botanical illustrator, created both traditional and digital art, posters, stickers and postcards, explored the field of textile and surface pattern design and even worked as a costume designer for film!

In 2021 I decided to design my own website and started to learn UX/UI design, HTML and CSS, and it became my new passion. I took a couple of free online courses on Figma and UI and then invested time and money in Google UX Design Certified Course. Now I'm looking forward to start my career as an entry level UX/UI designer to gain some real-life experience and improve my professional skills.
